Melissa is a third-year law student at the University of Minnesota Law School. Melissa was named to the Dean’s “A” List in her second year of law school. She is an experienced writer, receiving the Best Brief Award in the National Moot Court Competition and a Dorothy O. Lareau Legal Writing Award in the Civil Rights Civil Liberties Moot Court in 2025. Melissa graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s of science degree in cognitive science. She has background experience in clinical research, scientific writing, client services, and project management. Melissa is passionate about understanding client needs and delivering meaningful results.
